Locations |
The Locations tab for vendors enables you to specify the locations that vendors support by supplying commercial work.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on vendor ID and name.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Vendor ID
Identifier of the vendor currently selected in the grid or that you are currently defining. This field has a list box. The vendor name displays to the right of the ID.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of the tab, presented in the Locations supported screen group, define the locations. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are optional.
Supports all locations
If this field has a check, the vendor supports all locations.
Warranty reimbursement hourly rate
Hourly rate for warranty reimbursement. Used to calculate the labor claim amount based on the claim hours on tasks associated with the warranty claim. If the vendor has a reimbursement rate, that rate is used instead of the actual labor costs as the labor claim amounts. Optional.
Warranty part markup
Warranty part markup. Maximum field length is 10 characters. Optional.
Identifiers and the names of locations that this vendor supports. Up to 1,000 locations can be displayed in this screen group.
Delete
To delete the specified location ID from the list of locations that the vendor supports, place a check in this field and click Save.
Location ID
Valid identifier of a location that the vendor supports. This field has a list box.
Location name
Name of the location in the Location ID field. This field is display only.
Warranty reimbursement hourly rate
Hourly rate for warranty reimbursement. Maximum field length is 10 characters. This field is optional.
Warranty part markup
Warranty part markup. Maximum field length is 10 characters. This field is optional.
Sales tax rate
Sales tax rate, as a percentage, which is used to compute sales tax to add to commercial labor and parts charged to work orders. You can specify a separate tax rate for each location ID supplied by a vendor.
