Screen Rights Template |
The Screen Rights Template screen enables you to display and define screen rights templates. Screen rights templates define which screens the users in the user group associated with the template can view or modify. Every time the system is upgraded, the Screen Rights Template has blank values for new screens
Template ID
Unique identifier of the screen rights template currently selected in the grid. This field has a list box. To create a new screen rights template, type the template name in this field.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab define the screen rights for the template. All fields are optional.
Screen ID: The number of the screen for which this row defines access for user groups assigned this template.
Screen Name: The title of the screen for which this row defines access for user groups assigned this template. Go to the paths to the screens.
Note: Positions refers to the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Positions screen.
View: A check in this field indicates that users in the user group assigned this template have access rights to view data entries on the screen.
Insert: A check in this field indicates that users in the user group assigned this template have access rights to insert data entries on the screen.
Update: A check in this field indicates that users in the user group assigned this template have access rights to change data entries on the screen.
Copy: A check in this field indicates that users in the user group assigned this template have access rights to copy data entries on the screen.
Delete: A check in this field indicates that users in the user group assigned this template have access rights to delete data entries on the screen.
Request Change: A check in this field indicates that users in the user group assigned this template have access rights to request an entry change on the screen.
Bulk edit: A check in this field indicates that users in the user group assigned this template have access rights to perform multiple edits on data entries on the screen using the multi-edit mode.
Mod Validation: A check in this field indicates that users in the user group assigned this template are not allowed to update data which has been modified by another process in the System on the screen.
