Basic Info |
The Basic Info tab for bids enables you to display and define identifying information about bids.
Tip: You can use the filter to limit the display to specific bid IDs, IDs of users who requested bids, and/or the status of bids.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Bid ID
ID of the bid currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. You can use this ID for reporting purposes with the Query/Report Generator, Web Modules Reporting, or any other reporting tool sold separately (such as Microsoft Access) that can attach to the database. Refer to the related documentation for these products.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab define basic information about the bid. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Description
Description of the bid. Free-format area.
Requested by
Identifier of the employee who requested the bid. This field has a list box.
Due date
Date the bid is due.
Date closed
Date the bid was closed. This field is optional.
Status
Status of the bid. This field has a list box:
OPEN
ISSUED
CLOSED
AWARDED
