Generate |
The Generate tab enables you to generate (compute) calendars for calendar IDs. The calendars reflect actual working hours for a year, based on weekly hours and holidays. When you update information on other tabs on the Calendars screen, the changes take effect after you compute the calendar.
You must compute calendars for each calendar ID every year. Without an accurate calendar of working hours, the system cannot compute downtime or work delay hours on work orders for a location. You may generate two or more calendars for the same year.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Calendar ID
Identifier of the calendar currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. Its description displays to the right of the ID. This field has a list box.
Calendar based on time zone
The time zone this calendar is based on. This field is populated automatically according to the time zone of the application server.
The bottom section of this tab enables you to specify each calendar's start and end dates and years. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
