Statistics (Asset Groups) |
On the Asset Groups screen, you can create groups for assets. On the Statistics tab, you can view the statistics for the assets in your asset group.
Asset Groups: Update statistics only include assets that have an actual in-service date specified. Any asset that does not have an in-service date will not be included in the counts.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Asset Group ID
The unique identifier of the asset group currently displayed in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. This field is required.
Update Statistics
Check this box to update statistics to gather the latest statistics for assets within the group. This updates the asset count information, average current age, mileage, and score information. Criteria line items are optional, but, these are required before the system can update statistics.
Date and time last updated
The date and time the statistics were last updated.
Asset count
The number of assets in the asset group that have an actual in service date.
Replacement costs
The cost for replacement is the sum of the expected replacement cost for all assets from the Asset Capital Tab.
Average age
Average age of the assets in the asset group. This is calculated by the (current date minus the in service date) divided by the number of assets in the asset group. This is displayed in years.
Average meter 1
The average of the sums from the LifeMeter1 field. The LifeMeter1 value is on the Meter Info tab of the Asset Primary page.
Average meter 2
The average of the sums from the LifeMeter2 field. The LifeMeter2 value is on the Meter Info tab of the Asset Primary page.
Condition score target (level of service)
This is the score the asset group wants to target. The score is calculated according to the model for this particular asset group.
Minimum condition score
The minimum score allowed for the condition of the asset group. This can be a negative or positive number. This defaults to 0.
Performing the updated on statistics (as talked about above) updates all information shown in the section below. This group is display only.
Rating source
The source information comes from the Equipment Management -> Capital Planning -> Equipment Condition Rating screen. The rating source information comes from the existing equipment condition ratings for the assets in the group.
Rating type
The type information comes from the Equipment Management -> Capital Planning -> Equipment Condition Rating screen. The rating type comes from the existing equipment condition ratings for the assets in the group.
Number of events
The number of assets that have a record for this type of condition score.
Average condition score
The average of the condition score for the assets that have this type of condition score.
Percent of assets meeting target
The percentage of assets from this group with this type of condition score, where the condition score is greater than the asset group target score.
