The Equipment Management menu provides access to screens that enable you to define and display information about equipment unit management, such as equipment due for preventive maintenance (PM) and inspections, summaries and histories, and service level agreements.

The menu includes the following screens:

Equipment Due for Service/Inspection - by Equipment

Equipment units due for a preventive maintenance (PM) service, late for a previously scheduled service, or projected to be due for a PM service. Print a report that lists the units due and is available in several sequences. Oriented by equipment unit instead of location

PM Schedule Out of Service Extension

View and update PM schedule extension data

Consist Management

Define consists; useful for transits or other industries that operate several equipment units chained together in a series

Yard Management

Manage equipment yards

Work Order Summary

Filter on and search for detailed wok order history for equipment units

Assignment History

View when key data was changed on equipment records, including life-cycle status, department, operator, equipment class, PM class, rental class, and PM location

Service Status Change History

History of service status changes on an equipment unit

Lease Agreements

Lease agreements for leased vehicles

Service Level Agreements

Used mostly by transit customers to measure equipment available for service, measured by predefined requirements

Replacement Analysis

Access to screens that analyze usage costs for equipment units and display the results of the analysis (optional Replacement Analysis module must be installed); determine the ideal time to replace equipment units and plan for future projects

Planning

Track all steps in the equipment planning process. Primarily used by large fleet operations with geographically dispersed locations
