Service Status Change History |
When an equipment unit's service status changes because a user set it on a work order or finished a work order, the Service Status Change History screen records the information, including the old service status, the new service status, the ID of the user who recorded the change, the date the change occurred, and the work order ID.
A service status may change for any one of the following reasons:
Change the status on a work order for the equipment unit
Change the status on a work order for an attached equipment unit (component chain)
Finish a work order, but have another work order that is still open for that equipment unit or an attached equipment unit
Generate a work order that uses the location’s default service status
Generate a work order for which the service status is supplied (i.e., open a work order on the Incident Management screen)
Change an equipment ID on a work order
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on equipment ID, date, service status (old and new), work order ID, and user ID, among other values.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Equipment ID
Identifier of the equipment unit currently selected in the grid. This field has a list box. The year, manufacturer, and model of the equipment unit display to the right of the ID.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab provide more information about the change history of the service status . All fields are display only.
Old service status
Previous service status assigned to the equipment unit. This field has a list box. The description displays in the field to the right.
New service status
New service status assigned to the equipment unit. This field has a list box. The description displays in the field to the right.
Date and time changed
Date and time (in MMDDYYYY HH:MM format) that the change was made.
by
Identifier of the user who changed the service status. This field has a list box. The user name displays in the field to the right.
Changed as a result of
Text description of why the status was changed.
Work order ID
Three-part field that comprises the work order identifier. The first part is the location ID of the shop to which the work order is assigned. The second part is the year the work order was opened. The third part is the number of the work order. This field has a list box and a Zoom button to the Data -> Shop Activity -> Work Order Center screen.
Equipment ID
Identifier of the equipment unit. The equipment unit year, manufacturer, and model display beneath the ID.
Work order ID
