Fuel/Fluid Tanks - Setup - Options |
The Options screen for fuel and fluid tanks displays and defines information for fuel unit price and credit card transactions.
Fuel/fluid tanks setup
Fuel/fluid receipt unit price maximum percentage deviation
Range limit for values you can insert in the Unit price field on the Data -> Fuel/Fluid Activity -> Receipts screen. If you attempt to enter a unit price that is outside this range, a warning message appears. This field is optional.
FuelFocus equipment ID for generic credit card transactions
Identifier of the equipment unit that is authorized for credit card transactions at fueling stations. This field has a list box of active IDs that are authorized for fuel tickets.
Equipment units are authorized for fuel tickets on the Authorization tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen.
Send leading zeroes of fuel card number from FuelFocus
If this field has a check, FuelFocus sends leading zeroes of fuel card numbers. Leading zeros are usually removed. This field is generally left blank.
Logging mode
Check this box to enable logging mode. Logging mode enables the ability to log incoming XML messages for pre-authorization and set transactions to FuelFocus and FluidFocus web services. This will assist as needed with troubleshooting issues with Customer Care. This is a temporary item, and must be used with an expiration date set in the Date and time expiration field below to set a date this option will be disabled.
Date and time expiration: Set a date for the Logging mode option to be disabled automatically.
Ignore failed meter update transactions
Check this box to enable the ability to ignore failed meter update transactions. This is a temporary work around option when needing to prevent meter update errors from being displayed in the FuelFocus Pending Transaction portal. Transactions made while this option is enabled will be marked as skipped, and processed so that they do not show up in the pending transactions as an error. As this is a temporary item, if you enable this option, you must set the Date and time expiration field below to set a date this option will be disabled.
Once the temporary timer has expired when processing a meter update transaction, the transaction will once again create an error as normal.
Date and time expiration: Set a date for the Ignore failed meter update transactions option to be disabled automatically.
Pending transaction history mode
Check this to turn on transaction logging. When this option is enabled, the history mode setting logs all reprocessed or deleted error transactions to a history table for reporting purposes.
Inventory adjustment reason code for backdated receipt adjustments
Reason code for adjustment to fuel receipt tank value when receipt is entered after tank readings have been entered. This field has a list box.
FuelFocus user ID
Validates the identifier of the user that will write to the system. Optional, but when you upgrade to Release 13.1, you must set up the FuelFocus user ID. Otherwise, the ICUs will not go online and transactions will be unable to process.
FuelFocus new password
This field is intended for use by system administrators in the event that a user forgets their password. A system administrator can give a user a new password by typing a temporary password into this field. When making a new password for another employee, be sure to enable the User must change password at next login option on the Security Options tab.
White list update frequency (hours)
Specifies the frequency (number of hours) at which to create or update the FuelWhiteList.txt in the InfoCenter/WebModules/DataFiles directory. Maximum field length is five characters. Must be greater than zero (0). This update refreshes the file.
Authentication
These settings activate FuelFocus authentication. When disabled it will allow the fuel service to run as if it does not have authentication, but adds authentication security when enabled.
Enable encryption: Enable this setting to use encryption.
Use HTTPS: Enable this setting to use HTTPS authentication. This setting allows the system to generate HTTPS signatures on the server.
Allowed time difference minutes
Enter a time (in minutes) to set a time buffer for the ICU signature. This buffer allows for a buffer time between the ICU and the server. If there is no additional buffer time (the default is 1 minute), if the two times do not match, the server does not consider the signature as a valid entry.
