Processing Rules - General |
The Processing Rules - General tab enables you to specify how data from automated fuel systems are processed, in general.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Fuel system ID
Valid identifier of the fuel system for which you are defining general processing rules. Numeric. This field has a choice list of previously defined fuel system IDs that have a check in the System available field on the Fuel System Description tab. The system name displays to the right of the ID.
Fuel systems are defined on the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Fueling -> Setup -> Automated Fuel Systems screen.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab define the general processing rules. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Equipment identifier
Data item the fuel system uses to identify the equipment unit on each fuel ticket. It describes the information specified for EQUIPMENT ID in the Descriptive Data Items/Data type field on the Data Format tab. This field has a choice list:
EQUIPMENT ID: The system equipment ID.
FUEL CARD ID: Unique fuel card ID assigned to the equipment unit.
Note: If the credit card on the transaction is assigned to more than one equipment unit, either of the following values will reject transactions from the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Fueling -> Automated Fuel Tickets screen.
CREDIT CARD EQ: Credit card assigned to the equipment unit. The equipment unit is identified by determining the equipment unit to which the credit card was assigned on the transaction date.
CREDIT CARD OPER: Credit card assigned to the equipment unit’s operator. The equipment unit is identified by determining the operator ID to which the credit card was assigned on the transaction date and then determining the equipment unit to which that operator was assigned on the transaction date.
Custom processing
If this field has a check, a special code is used to process transactions from this fuel system. Do not change the value in this field.
Source of dates in file is _____ hours:minutes (HH:MI) difference from server time (-HH:MI if earlier)
Use this field to correct the time for data when the server is in a different time frame than your own.
