Last Tank Reading |
The Last Tank Reading tab enables you to view fuel inventory readings for a tank.
Each fuel inventory reading recorded creates an entry on the Fuel Inventory Analysis Report (refer to the Query/Reports -> Query/Report Generator screen). You can print this report at any time, and should print it at the end of any day during which you record fuel tank readings. You can print the report from the Reports list box in the standard toolbar.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on tank ID, location ID, fuel/fluid type, and underground account.
The fields in the top section of this tab define the data that displays.
Tank ID
Identifier of the tank currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box.
Data in the fields on the bottom section of this tab define the information about the last tank reading. All fields are display only.
Last tank reading
Date and time
Date and time the level in the tank was last read.
Amount
Whole gallons in the tank, based on the dipstick reading or other measurement recorded on the Data -> Fuel Activity -> Tank Readings screen. If the Basic Info tab specifies a value in the Tank capacity field, this amount cannot exceed that capacity.
Receipts since last read
Quantity dispensed into the tank since the last reading.
Usage since last read
Quantity dispensed from the tank since the last reading.
Transfers in since last read
Quantity transferred into the tank since the last reading.
Transfers out since last read
Quantity transferred from the tank since the last reading.
