Linear work order transfer functions |
You can use the Delays tab on the Data -> Shop Activity -> Linear Work Order screen to transfer work orders from one shop location to another. The following actions occur automatically when work orders are transferred:
Current service status changes to WORK FINISHED
Shop and user downtime on the current work order stops (if running)
New work order created for the linear asset in the transferee shop
Shop and user downtime on the new work order starts
Descriptive information from the current work order copied to the new work order, including all fields on the Basic Info (except dates and times) and Comments tabs
New work order ID inserted in the Reference work order field on the current work order
Current work order number inserted in the Reference work order field on the new work order
Priority code (ID) on the new work order (if the transfer is from a mobile shop to an internal shop) changed to the default priority ID for the linear asset. (Priority codes are specified on the Codes tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen.)
Status of the linear asset changes from PENDING to OPEN
