Crew Runs |
The Crew Runs tab enables you to specify the days of the week or holiday that a crew run is to be assigned to a schedule. A schedule may apply to any days of the week, and may be used on holidays. A crew run may apply to any or all of the days of week/holiday that the schedule applies. A crew run may be assigned to a schedule only once.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on schedule ID, from/to date, effective date, discontinued date, route ID, and schedule type ID. You can also specify whether to display current active schedules, discontinued schedules, or all schedules.
The field in the top section of the Crew Runs tab identifies the schedule ID.
Schedule ID
Identifying code or name of the schedule. Display only. The schedule's description displays in the unlabeled field to the right.
Required number of crew
The number of crew required for the schedule. You can use this value for exception reporting to verify whether each trip run had the required number of crew onboard. This field is optional.
The screen group in the bottom section of the tab enables you to assign crew runs to a schedule ID, including the days of the week and the holiday schedule. These fields are optional.
Delete
If this field has a check, the entire row is deleted when you click Save.
Crew run ID
Identifier of the crew run. This field has a list box. Crew run IDs are defined on the Data -> Operations -> Setup -> Crew Runs screen.
Crew run description
Text description of the crew run. Populates automatically based on the crew run ID. This field is display only.

To specify the day (or days) of the week that the crew run is assigned to the schedule, select the applicable checkbox (or checkboxes). Crew runs may only be assigned to days that are marked on the schedule.
Tip: If the crew run applies only to holidays, leave the weekday checkboxes blank.
Holiday
If this field has a check, then the crew run applies to a holiday. Crew runs may only be assigned to schedules that have a holiday type assigned.
