Part Catalog Mapping |
The Part Catalog Mapping screen supports mapping part primary records to manufacturers and manufacturer's part numbers in order to link to an illustrated part catalog through the Shop Activity Portals in Web Modules.
This screen is currently used only in relation to mapping parts for the Documoto Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) tool. The tool helps technicians accomplish their daily repair activities. If you would like to start using the IPC in your shop operation, please contact your sales representative.
Note: When a part is deleted from the system, the part catalog mapping record is also deleted if part status tracking is enabled; the part suffix being deleted is NEW, REBUILT, or USED; and there are no other NEW, REBUILT, or USED suffixes in the system.
The screen has one tab, Basic Info. The fields in the top section of the tab enable you to define the data that displays.
