Other Types |
The Other Types tab enables you to display and specify alternate pool vehicle types that should be checked for availability whenever you request a reservation for a pool vehicle type for which no equipment unit is available.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Pool vehicle/resource type
Type of pool vehicle selected in the grid. This field has a list box. The vehicle type description displays to the right of the field.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab define the alternate pool vehicle types. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Delete
If this field has a check, the entire row is deleted when you click Save.
Rank
Order of priority in which other pool vehicle types are considered for substitution when an equipment unit of the pool vehicle type is unavailable. Multiple pool vehicle types can share the same rank.
Other pool vehicle type
Pool vehicle type considered for substitution when an equipment unit of the pool vehicle type is unavailable. This field has a list box.
If there is a check in the Show units of associated pool vehicle types on units available lists field on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Motor Pool -> Setup -> Options screen, these alternate pool vehicle types are included on appropriate lists of units available for dispatch on a reservation.
