Run reports by issuing a command


You can run a report by issuing a command from the command prompt or from the File -> Batch Process -> Execute screen. The report must be defined as either a standard report or a user-defined report.

To execute such a command, you must be assigned to a user group ID that has access rights to the report. (Users are assigned to user group IDs on the Groups Currently Assigned tab of the System Mgmt -> Setup -> Access Rights -> Users screen. User groups are granted access to reports on the System Mgmt -> Setup -> Access Rights -> Rights Templates -> Report Rights Template screen.)

The command consists of the Query/Report Generator screen ID (3005), the report name, and the output destination (such as a file or printer). Examples:
