The Basic Info tab for requisitions enables you to display and define identifying information about requisitions.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on requisition ID, requisition status, bid ID, vendor ID, and estimate ID.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Requisition ID
Identifier of the requisition currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. You can use this ID for reporting purposes with the Query/Report Generator, Web Modules Reporting, or any other reporting tool sold separately (such as Microsoft Access) that can attach to the database. Refer to the related documentation for these products.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab define basic information about the requisition. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Description
Description of the requisition. Free-format area.
Note: If the requisition was generated from the Data -> Procurement -> Estimates screen, this field populates automatically.
Status
Status of the requisition. This field has a list box:
OPEN
CLOSED
Requested by
Identifier of the employee who requested the requisition. This field has a list box.
Note: If the requisition was generated from the Data -> Procurement -> Estimates screen, this field populates automatically.
Vendor ID
Identifier of the vendor providing the requisition. This field has a list box. If the requisition has an estimate ID, the vendor ID on the requisition must match the vendor ID on the estimate.
Note: If the requisition was generated from the Data -> Procurement -> Estimates screen, this field populates automatically.
Vendor IDs are defined on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Setup -> Organization Structure -> Vendors -> Primary Information screen.
Due date
Date that the requisition is due.
Note: If the requisition was generated from the Data -> Procurement -> Estimates screen, this field populates automatically.
Date closed
Date that the requisition was closed. This field is optional.
Bid ID
Identifier of the bid associated with the requisition. This field has a list box. Optional. Bid IDs are defined on the Data -> Procurement -> Bids screen. If an estimate ID is associated with a bid ID, the bid ID on requisition must match the associated bid ID.
Note: If the requisition was generated from the Data -> Procurement -> Estimates screen, this field populates automatically.
Estimate ID
Identifier of the estimate associated with the requisition. Optional. Estimate IDs are defined on the Data -> Procurement -> Estimates screen.
