Work Accomplished Codes

The Work Accomplished Codes screen enables you to display and define codes for work that has been completed. You can also restrict work accomplished codes by asset category. You can use work accomplished codes on the Tasks tab on the Data -> Shop Activity -> Work Order Center screen, in combination with task IDs, to provide a more detailed description about the work performed. For instance, you may specify a task ID for brakes, and further specify the work accomplished code for overhaul.

You may want to define additional codes for maintenance or repair tasks such as remove and replace, rebuild, charge, modify, paint, patch, repack, reline, rebore, reseat, rebush, straighten, tighten, and weld.

To determine whether work accomplished codes are required for tasks assigned to work orders opened at the location, go to the Work Orders - Options tab on the Data -> Setup -> Organization Structure -> Locations -> Primary Information screen.
