Repair Sites |
The Repair Sites screen enables you to display and define sites at which mechanics perform work order repairs and preventive maintenance (PM).
To limit the display of repair sites and maximize performance, use the filter.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Repair site
Site for repairs currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a choice list of predefined repair sites, which are based on the American Trucking Association (ATA) Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards (VMRS) coding structure. The predefined sites are as follows:
01 FACILITY: This is the default repair site unless there is a check in the Shop (regular) field on the Functions tab of the Data -> Setup -> Organization Structure -> Locations -> Primary Information screen and a default repair site on work orders specified on the Work Orders - Defaults tab of that same screen.

If the site is already defined, its description displays to the right of the field.
The Description field in the bottom section of this tab provides a text description of the repair site. Maximum field length is 30 characters. This field is required.
