Standard and Optional Equipment |
The Standard Equipment and Optional Equipment tab displays the valid standard (catalog) and optional (non-catalog) equipment that are part of equipment units assigned to the equipment classes or equipment types that use the template. Managers in the field review this list of features when requesting new equipment. The standard and optional equipment for templates is specified on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Equipment - Attributes screen. This information displays after you process an insert to define the project template ID.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays in the fields in the bottom section of the tab.
Project template ID
Identifier of the project template currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. If the ID already exists, the template description displays to the right of the ID.
The screen group in the bottom section of this tab displays the subsystems and properties of the equipment classes or equipment types that use the project template. All information is display only from the Data -> Equipment Units -> Equipment - Attributes screen.
Description
Description of the equipment.
Part ID
Valid inventory identifier of a part that is a subsystem. The ID is associated with the part suffix.
Part suffix
Number associated with the part ID.
Cost
Cost associated with a property on the template.
Standard
If this field has a check, the equipment is a standard feature in the equipment catalog.
Optional
If this field has a check, the equipment is an optional feature in the equipment catalog.
