Functions |
The Functions tab enables you to specify what vendors provide, such as equipment, parts, and equipment repair.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on vendor ID and name.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Vendor ID
Unique identifier of the vendor currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. The vendor name displays to the right of the ID.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of the tab define basic information about the vendor. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Vendor provides:
A check in any of the following fields specifies that the vendor provides the organization with the indicated goods or services.
Equipment
Equipment and component warranties
Equipment repair and PM (commercial)
Parts
Parts warranties
Parts repair and rebuild
Fuel: If this field has a check, you can specify the vendor ID on the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Fueling -> External Fuel Tickets screen when you record information about fuel transactions that occur at a commercial fueling station.
Testing: If this field has a check, you can specify the vendor ID on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Testing -> Test Results screen when you record information about test results.
