Ext Import Error Handler |
The Ext Import Error Handler screen for equipment units displays records of invalid data entered with hand-held devices. From this screen you can correct data and re-enter it.
Note: The optional Bar Code module and Mobile Software module must be installed to use hand-held devices to transfer data between the software and the hand-held devices. See the related documentation for these products.

The field in the top section of the tab defines the data that the software displays.
Run ID
Identifier of the sequential number of the upload.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab provide more detail.
Description
Description of the run ID.
Processed by
Identifier of the user who processed the run ID.
Event type
Method by which the data was imported.
Next row to process
Number of the row to process for the next error.
Process next error
Click the Process next error button to view the screens on which you can correct the error.
The following fields are presented in a screen group.
Skip row
If this field has a check, the row’s error was skipped.
Posting complete
If this field has a check, the error was processed. This field is display only.
Error message
Explanation of the error that occurred. This field is display only.
Edit data
If this field has a check, the XML data for the row appears. This is useful to determine exactly where the problem occurred in the run. The Event data box displays the data, which you can edit.
Event data
XML data for the row. This is useful to determine exactly where the problem occurred in the run. This field is display only. When you type a check (X) in the Edit data field, the data displays in the second Event data field, which you can edit.
