Basic Info |
The Basic Info tab enables you to define, copy, update or delete vehicle-related alerts.
The fields in the top section of this tab define the data that the application displays.
Alert ID
Editable field that allows you to search for an existing Alert ID to edit or enter data to define a new alert. Maximum field length is 30 characters.
The fields in the bottom section of this tab enable you to set basic information for the alert.
Equipment ID
Identifier of the equipment. This field has a list box.
Equipment IDs are defined on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen.
Alert key
The alert ID. Maximum field length is 30 characters.
Subsystem
The subsystem of the code. Maximum field length is 60 characters.
Element
The element of the code. Maximum field length is 60 characters.
Description
The description of the code. Maximum field length is 100 characters.
Severity
The severity of the code. Maximum field length is 10 characters.
Action type
The action type for this alert. This field has a list box.
Number of occurrences
Number of occurrences.
Symptom
This field has a list box. The symptom description displays to the right of the ID.
Symptoms are defined on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Symptoms screen.
Meter 1 reading
Reading on the equipment unit’s meter, to the nearest whole meter unit (omit the tenths).
Latitude
Last recorded latitude coordinates of the equipment unit. Maximum field length is 20 characters.
Longitude
Last recorded longitude coordinates of the equipment unit. Maximum field length is 20 characters.
Direction
Last recorded direction of the equipment unit.
Speed
Last recorded speed of the equipment unit.
Service request ID
Service request associated with the alert. This can not be deleted if used on the Telematics Alert table.
MIL Faults Only
Check this box to include only MIL faults.
Acknowledged
If this field has a check, the service request tied to the alert is either finished or closed. This field is display only.
Begin date and time
Date (in MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM format) that the alert is set to begin. Defaults to the current date and time
End date and time
Date (in MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM format) that the alert is set to end.
