Attributes |
The Attributes tab enables you to track additional attributes on a specific reimbursement claim. Reimbursement attributes include payment terms and resolution status.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on claim ID, claim type, work order location/ID/year, part ID/suffix, vendor ID, and task ID, among other values.
The field in the top section of this tab defaults from information entered on the Claim Data tab. It is display only.
Claim ID
Identifier of the selected claim.
The Attributes screen group enables you to assign attributes to a warranty claim. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are optional.
Delete
If this field has a check, the entire row is deleted when you click Save.
Warranty attribute ID
Identifying code for the attribute. This field has a list box. If the other fields in the row are populated, an attribute ID is required. Otherwise, this field is optional.
Tip: The list of attribute IDs is restricted by claim type. For example, only those attribute IDs defined as applicable to equipment claims will be listed for an equipment claim. Warranty attributes are defined on the Data -> Warranty -> Setup -> Warranty Attributes screen.
Name
Name of the warranty attribute. This field is read only; it populates automatically after the attribute ID is selected.
Text value
Text field. Field length maximum is 30 characters.
Numeric value
Text field for a numeric value. Field length maximum is eight characters.
Date and time value
Date and time in MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM format. You can use it to track additional data that you may need.
Comments
Text field for comments. Field length maximum is 60 characters.
Path and file name
Path and file name for data. Maximum field length is 255 characters. This field has a file launch button .
