Warranty Attributes |
The Warranty Attributes screen enables you to display and define warranty attributes such as payment terms and resolution contact information, which are tracked on warranty claims.
All fields are optional.
Warranty attribute ID
Type of attribute to add to the list of attributes for which warranty claim information is tracked. You may define as many attributes as you want. This field has a list box.
Name
Name of the warranty attribute. Free-format text field with a 30-character maximum field length.
Used on warranty claims of type
To indicate the type associated with the warranty attribute, place a check in the applicable type field (or fields):
Equipment: Attribute applies to equipment claim types.
Part: Attribute applies to parts claim types.
Core: Attribute applies to core claim types.
Tip: To associate an attribute with more than one type (i.e., equipment, part, core), place a check in all the applicable boxes.
If you associate a warranty attribute with a claim type, the attribute ID will display in the list boxes for the corresponding attribute in the fields on the Attributes tab of the Data -> Warranty -> Reimbursement Claims screen.
