Assignment Request |
This screen must be used along with the Allocation and Assignment web portal. To get the full functionality of generating an allocation and assignment record, you need to use the web portal. On this screen you can see requests, made through the portal, for new items or users that have reported an issue with an item they currently have. This screen enables you to review, edit, or enter the appropriate information for the assignment request.
Data for these records are controlled by location security and will not display data from a location the user does not have access to.
Note: The settings on the Allocation and Assignment Options screen can limit the number of requests created for items, transfers, and replacements. Refer to help for the Options screen for more information on setting validations for requests.
Assignment request ID
The identifier assigned to the request. This field is display only.
Requested by
This person that requested this assignment. This field has a list box.
Batch ID
This is the identifier of the batch of requests. Allocation and assignment requests that were requested at the same time are given a batch ID for easier actioning.
