Class/Task Information |
The Class/Task Information screen enables you to display and define information about tasks to perform on equipment units in specific equipment classes. You can specify the resource requirements for a task, generate a checklist of PM tasks for specific PM services, define information about the tasks to perform on equipment units in specific equipment classes, enter task procedures, and specify tests to be performed. Equipment classes are defined on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Class -> Primary Information screen. You cannot delete a class or task if there are work orders with this information that are not closed.
Basic information about labor hours and rates for equipment units in the class; whether tasks should be added to repair orders or PM orders; position information requirements
Expected costs and labor hours required to complete the task on equipment units in the class
Bay work types that can support the task on equipment units in the class
Skill types and number of technicians required to complete the task on equipment units in the class
Parts required to complete the task on equipment units in the class
Tool types required to complete the task on equipment units in the class
For each equipment class that requires preventive maintenance (PM), the level of PM inspections and services that include a specific task
Task procedure text that will be printed on the work order; list of tests to be performed and recorded before the work order may be closed
