Put-away Cards |
The put-away process is the process that parts go through to be received and put back into inventory. This happens automatically by default for parts where inventory is updated and the parts are immediately available upon receiving (AUTOMATIC). The process can also be set up to track each step where upon being received, parts are put into a temporary holding area, stocked, and approved for releasing into inventory for further use (STAGED). This would only apply to items that are stocked into inventory.
The Put-away Cards screen manages the put-away cards used in a multi-step receiving process. It allows you to do the following:
Record parts received in the receiving area
Record part movement between areas and bins
Approve the quantity received so the part is available for use
