The Basic Info tab enables you to define basic information about a work project.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on work project ID, project name, status, user ID that created the project, and user ID that owns the project.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Work project ID
Identifier of the work project currently selected in the grid or that you are inserting (opening). The application assigns the ID; this field is display only.
Data in the fields on the bottom section of this tab define basic information about the work project. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Project type ID
The identifier of the project type for this project.
Name
Name or text description of the work project. Maximum field length is 255 characters.
Status
Status of the work project. This field has a choice list:
DRAFT
PROPOSED
PLANNING
APPROVED
REJECTED
IN PROGRESS
COMPLETED
CANCELED
Status last changed at
Date and time (in MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM format) that the status was changed. Updates automatically. This field is display only.
Responsible location ID
The identifier of the location responsible for this project. Some projects that may span multiple locations may have a responsible location set in this field, to set the location that is primarily responsible for this project.
Created by
Identifier of the project's creator (may also be used for other stakeholders). This field has a list box. Maximum field length is 50 characters. This field is optional.
Owned by
Identifier of the project owner (may also be used for project champion, project manager, and so forth). This field has a list box. Maximum field length is 50 characters. This field is optional.
Notification template
Identifier of the notification template. This field
has a list box and

Template screen. This field is optional.

Notification status
Status of the notification. This field has a zoom
button to the Notification
Instance screen. Display only.
Generate schedule from start date
Generates a schedule when a Work Project is created from a template. The Project type ID and Generate schedule from start date must be identified, and then the schedule will be generated based on tasks and dependencies. If Generate schedule from start date is set at the time of saving, it will warn the user that the schedule will be regenerated before saving.
