Wheel Measurements |
The Wheel Measurements screen enables you to record and display wheel measurement information, including flange height, thickness, and face and back angle, as well as rim thickness.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Equipment ID
Identifier of the equipment assigned to the wheel measurement. This field has a list box. The equipment description displays to the right of the ID. This field is optional.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab define the information for wheel measurement. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Date and time
Date and time (in MMDDYYYY HH:MM format) the wheel measurement was recorded. Auto-populates with the current date and time upon entry of an equipment ID, but you can change it to an earlier date or time.
Work order ID
Identifier of the work order. The work order ID is composed of three parts:
Location identifier of the shop to which the work order is assigned. This field has a list box of locations that the user has access to as defined on the System Mgmt -> Setup -> Access Rights -> Rights Templates -> Location Rights screen. The location must support work orders.
Calendar year in which the work order was opened.
Sequential number in the range from 1 to 9999999. This field has a list box of numbers restricted by work order location and work order year (if entered).
This field populates automatically if the work order was opened from the Data -> Shop Activity -> Work Order Center screen.
Employee ID
Identifier of the employee associated with logged in user ID. This field has a list box. The employee’s name displays to the right of the ID.
Employee IDs are assigned on the Personal Info tab of the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Employees -> Primary Information screen.
The screen group in the bottom of the tab provides wheel measurement details. Information regarding axles and wheels auto-populates based on the equipment ID if the Position field for both axles and wheels is set to 1 and 2. All fields are optional.
Position ID
Identifier of the position. Each position must be unique. The maximum field length is 20 characters. This field has a list box. The position description displays to the right of the ID.
Position IDs for wheel measurements are defined on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Positions screen.
Axle equipment ID
Identifier of the axle. This field has a list box.
(L) Wheel equip ID
Identifier of left wheel. This field has a list box.
(L) Flange height
Height of the left wheel flange. The maximum field length is six digits on either side of the decimal point. Negative values are allowed.
(L) Flange thickness
Thickness of the left wheel flange. The maximum field length is six digits on either side of the decimal point. Negative values are allowed.
(L) Flange face angle
Angle of the flange face (gauge face) on the left axle. The maximum field length is six digits on either side of the decimal point. Negative values are allowed.
(L) Flange back angle
Angle of the back flange on the left axle. The maximum field length is six digits on either side of the decimal point. Negative values are allowed.
(L) Rim thickness
Thickness of the left rim. The maximum field length is six digits on either side of the decimal point. Negative values are allowed.
(L) Wheel size
