Capacities

The Capacities tab enables you to define information about the equipment unit’s capacities.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

Equipment ID

Identifier of the equipment unit currently selected in the grid. This field has a zoom button to the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen, on which equipment unit IDs are defined. It also has a list box. The equipment unit year, manufacturer, model, meter readings, and description display to the right of the ID.

Tip: You can set a zoom button for this field to detect the type of equipment and display the appropriate screen. If you used Administrator Mode to add a zoom button, you will need to use it again to remove your user-defined zoom button for this functionality to work.

Detail View

Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab define information about the equipment unit’s capacities. All fields are optional.

Capacity and unit of measure for the following items. All fields accept six places before the decimal point and one after.

Fuel
Oil

Transmission fluid

You can use the following fields however you want.

Auxiliary transmission fluid
Transfer case fluid
Differential fluid
Cooling system fluid

Alternative fuel

Alternative fuel capacity.
