The Basic Info tab enables you to display and define identifying information about templates.
Detail View Header
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays in the fields in the tab area.
Project template ID
Identifier of the project template currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. If the ID already exists, its description displays to the right of the ID.
You may modify the template ID on an equipment planning project if the project status is either REQUEST or PLANNED. Once a project status changes to ACTIVE, COMPLETE, or CANCELED, however, the template ID may not be changed.
After you process an insert of a project template ID on the Standard and Optional Equipment tab, the subsystems and properties of the equipment classes or equipment types that use it display.
Detail View
The data fields in the bottom section of the tab define basic information about the template. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are optional.
Description
Description of the template. Free-format area. This field is required.
Equipment type ID
Identifier of the equipment type that uses the template. This field has a list box. The equipment type description displays to the right of the ID.
If there is information in the Equipment class ID/for maintenance field, you cannot specify an equipment type ID.
If the Equipment type ID field is blank, this field is required.
The following fields specify the equipment class ID of equipment units that use the template. If there is information in the Equipment type ID field, you cannot specify information in any of these fields. If the Equipment type ID field is blank, these fields are required.
Equipment class ID for maintenance
Identifier of the equipment class for maintenance of equipment units that use the template. This field has a list box. The description of the equipment class for maintenance displays to the right of the ID.
Equipment class ID for resources
Identifier of the equipment class for resources that uses the template. This field has a list box. The description of the equipment class for resources displays to the right of the ID
Standard job ID
Identifier of the standard job that uses the template. This field has a list box. The job description displays to the right of the ID.
Asset category ID
The identifier of the asset category that uses the template. This field has a list box. the category description displays to the right of the ID.
Associated file:
Path and file name: Path and file name of a file associated with the template. This is useful if you want to associate a document, diagram, graphic, and so forth with the template. Maximum field length is 255 characters. This field has a file launch button
.Description: Description of the file associated with the template.
Status
Status of the template. This field has a list box.
PENDING: Template is in the process of being created.
ACTIVE: Template currently in use.
RETIRED: Template no longer in use.
Budget year
Text field in which to record the budget year.
Purchase year
Text field in which to record the purchase year.
Model year
The model year in which to set for the template.
Date and time added
Date and time the template ID was defined.
Date and time activated
Date and time the template's status was specified as ACTIVE.
Date and time retired
Date and time the template's status was specified as RETIRED.
