Note: The Value Depreciation screen is accessible only on Oracle databases and only if the Replacement Analysis module is active. The Replacement Analysis module has been replaced by the Performance Analysis module and the Replacement Modeling module in Web Modules.
The Basic Info tab for value depreciation enables you to display and define depreciation IDs and schedules.
Tip: You can use the filter to limit the display to specific depreciation IDs.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that the software displays.
Value depreciation ID
Identifier of the depreciation currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab define the depreciation ID.
Description
Description of the depreciation ID.
The following three fields, presented in the Depreciation pattern screen group, define the pattern that the depreciation ID uses. The pattern you define is dependent on whether the organization uses a straight line or an acceleration depreciation method. See Examples of depreciation patterns.
Delete
To delete the entries in the fields to the right, place a check in this field and click Save.
Year
Year (in YYYY format) of the depreciation pattern. Required.
Month
Month of the depreciation pattern. Acceptable values are 0-12.
Percent
Percent the equipment unit depreciates on the specified month of the year. May be zero (0).
