Attributes |
Note: This tab was previously called Addl Data prior to version 18.0.
If there is a check in the Display on equipment primary field on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Equipment Attributes screen, the Additional Data tab displays information from that screen that is related to component tracking. All fields are display only.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can search on equipment ID, part ID/suffix, PM program class, SLA equipment category, assigned repair location ID, and operator ID/name, among other values. The list of searchable fields on the filter is extensive; use the scroll bar to view them all.
Note: Filtering data based on fuel/fluid type uses the information in the Supported fuel/fluid types screen group on the Codes tab.
The Primary Information screen supports department-level and location level access control, so you must belong to a user group with the applicable authorizations to make changes or updates.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Equipment ID
Identifier of the component currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. The equipment year, manufacturer, and model display to the right of the ID.
When you insert a component with an asset category that supports automatic numbering and this field is blank, the system generates an equipment ID that follows the format specified in the Custom ID structure field on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Asset Categories screen. If the asset category does not support automatic numbering, the equipment ID is based on either part/location settings or system settings. If you specify an ID and the component’s asset category supports automatic numbering, the ID is not overwritten.
Whether an asset category supports automatic numbering is specified on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Asset Categories screen.
The fields in the bottom section of this tab provide information about subsystems and attribute data from test results.
If there is a check in the Display on equipment primary field on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Attributes screen, this screen group displays subsystems and parts information for the specific asset.
This screen group is editable. Records can be added, edited, or removed directly which will then create, modify, or remove associated records on the Attributes screen.
· Delete: If this field has a check, the entire row is deleted when you click Save.
Note: This will also delete the record from the Attributes screen for the asset.
· Subsystem: Name of the subsystem to use with the equipment ID. Subsystems are defined on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Subsystems screen.
· Property: Attribute assigned to the subsystem. Properties are defined on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Subsystem Properties screen.
Note: Properties will only show or be editable for the user if the Supports all user groups box is checked or if the User group has access to the Property on the Equipment Subsystems screen.
· Active: The active checkbox indicates that the value will show on the asset record; this is not an editable field as this entry is on the asset’s primary record. Additionally, it will show as inactive if the Subsystem’s property is set as inactive on the Attributes screen.
· Sequence: Sequence display order. Enables you to control (and change) the order in which data displays.
· Description: Description of the property from the Subsystem Properties screen.
· Date Value: The date associated with the subsystem.
· Numeric value: The quantity of the part.
· Text value: Text value associated with the property
· Part ID: Identifier of the part. The ID is associated with the part suffix. Part IDs and suffixes are defined on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Parts Items -> Primary Information screen.
· Part suffix: Number associated with the part ID.
If there is a check in the Display on equipment primary field on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Attributes screen, the data in this group displays subsystems and parts information for the maintenance class or equipment type. All fields are display only. The sequence of the display order is specified in the Sequence field on the Equipment Attributes screen.
· Defined by: Data that defines the subsystem.
o EQUIPMENT TYPE: The equipment unit’s equipment type (on the Basic Info tab) determines the subsystem and part information in this row.
o MAINTENANCE CLASS: The equipment unit’s Equipment class for: Maintenance (on the Classes tab) determines the subsystem and part information in this row.
· Subsystem: Name of the subsystem to use with the equipment ID, equipment type, or maintenance class specified in the Defined by field. Subsystems are defined on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Subsystems screen.
· Property: Attribute assigned to the subsystem. Properties are defined on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Subsystem Properties screen.
· Description: Description of the property.
· Date value: The date associated with the subsystem.
· Text value: Text value associated with the property.
· Numeric value: The quantity of the part.
· Part ID: Identifier of the part. The ID is associated with the part suffix. Part IDs and suffixes are defined on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Parts Items -> Primary Information screen.
· Part suffix: Number associated with the part ID.
This screen group displays attribute data from the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Testing -> Test Results screen. All fields are display only.
· Test element ID: Identifier of the test element included in the test type.
· Description: Description of the test element.
· Numeric value: For test elements that generate numeric results, the value of the test result.
· Qualitative finding: For test elements that do not generate numeric results, the value found as a result of the test. This field has a maximum of 60 characters.
· Comments: Comments regarding the test.
· Test type ID: Identifier of the type of test.
· Test ID: Identifier of the test.
