The Options screen for equipment unit set up enables you to define data entries that relate to the way that equipment unit information is handled and operators are assigned.

General information about how equipment unit data is handled, including requirements; inflation factor and earnings rate for computation of replacement cost to be recovered; revenue account ID; and depreciation method
How equipment unit data is handled
Operator requirements for the equipment unit and how equipment account IDs are updated
Specify the data items (e.g., department to notify for PM, life-cycle status code ID, motor pool location ID, fuel card ID, equipment class for rental rates) for which you want to track changes
Current count of active fleet equipment, rail equipment, stationary equipment, components, and linear assets; maximum number of each entity that your license agreement allows you to insert in the software
