Output Control |
The Output Control tab enables you to print a control label when a part is requested rather than having to wait for the parts room to issue it. Also, if you do not have a default label printer you can use this tab to specify one.
Printed parts requests include the following information:
Request ID
Requesting location ID
Requesting employee ID/name
Requesting equipment ID

Bin location (displays multiple bins if part is stocked in multiple bins)
Replenishment method (NONE, MIN-MAX, or EOQ)
Note: The printed notice to the stockroom of a new part request displays MIN-MAX values if the part replenishment method is MIN-MAX and Enterprise Purchasing is enabled, or EOQ values if the part replenishment method is EOQ.
Minimum and maximum available quantity (if applicable)
Reorder point (if applicable)
Reorder quantity (if applicable)
Quantity on order
Quantity on hand
Work order ID (if applicable)
Printed transfer notices include the following information:
Employee ID/Name
Work order ID
Equipment ID/Year-Make-Model-Description

Part description as keyword and short description
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on request ID, location ID, equipment ID, date and time entered, and work order location/year/number, among other values. Request IDs display in descending order by default, but you can change the sort order.
The fields in the top section of the tab are display only from the Parts Information tab.
Location ID

Date and time entered
Date and time the requested was entered. Automatically completed.
The fields in the bottom section of the tab display the printing information.
Printer ID
Identifier of the control label or the printer associated with the Output destination field, if the destination is a print queue. The default is the label printer ID (if any) for the logged in user. If the user does not have a default label printer, a printer may be specified. This field has a list box of printer IDs that the Printers tab of the System Mgmt -> Setup -> Access Rights -> Users screen specifies as used by the logged on user.
Output destination
Output destination associated with the control label or printer in the Printer ID field. The destination displays after a printer ID is specified. This field is display only.
Output destinations are associated with printer IDs on the System Mgmt -> Setup -> Printers -> Printer Devices/Queues screen.
