Equipment Requested


The Equipment Requested tab enables you to display and define identifiers and summary information about the equipment requested for projects.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

Project ID

Identifier of the project currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. The project description displays to the right of the ID.

Detail View

The fields in the Equipment IDs requested screen group enable you to display and define information about the equipment requested for the project. Unless otherwise indicated, all fields are optional.

Delete

To delete the entries in the fields to the right, place a check in this field and click Save.

Equipment ID

Identifier of the equipment unit requested as part of the project. Optional if the Actual completion date field is blank or the project template asset category has automatic numbering set to CUSTOM. Otherwise, this field is required.

If the asset category requires a model year for generation and none is available (either from the project template or the project template equipment type), this field is required.

Year-manufacturer-model-description

Year, manufacturer, and model of the equipment unit in the Equipment ID field. Display only from the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen.

Planned completion date

Date the project is expected to be completed.

Actual completion date

Date that the project was completed.

Shipment date

Date that the equipment ID must be shipped in order to meet the actual completion date.

Asset category ID

Identifier of the asset category. This field has a list box. This field is optional.

Asset categories are defined on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Asset Categories screen.
