Resource Hours Change |
The Resource Hours Change screen enables you to an hours change for an entire location as well as for individual employees. You can also specify regularly recurring commitments, such as meetings. This functionality supports the calendaring functionality available in the Web Modules Supervisor Portal. If you do not yet have FA Web Modules Shop Activity and would like more information, please contact your sales representative.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Resource type
The type of resource. Defaults to EMPLOYEE.
Data in the fields at the bottom section of this tab provide more information about the change. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Description
Text description of the resource type. Maximum field length is 60 characters. This field is optional.
Employee ID
Identifier of the employee. This field has a list box. The employee name displays to the right of the ID. Required if the Resource type field specifies EMPLOYEE.
Employee IDs are assigned on the Personal Info tab of the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Employees -> Primary Information screen.
Location ID
Identifier of the work order location. This field has a list box. The location description displays to the right of the ID. Required if the Resource type field specifies LOCATION.
Locations are defined on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Setup -> Organization Structure -> Locations -> Primary Information screen.
Recurrence
The frequency with which the specified event occurs. This field has a choice list:
ONE-TIME (default)
DAILY
WEEKLY
MONTHLY
Note: Changes other than ONE-TIME for EMPLOYEE are currently not supported by the automated shop scheduling functionality.
Day of the week or month
Day of the week that the event occurs.
If the Recurrence field specifies MONTHLY, this field must be a number between 1 and 7, where Sunday = 1.
If the Recurrence field specifies WEEKLY, this field must be a number between 1 and 7, where Sunday = 1.
If the Recurrence field specifies DAILY, this field must be 0.
Week of month
Week in the month that the event occurs.
If the Recurrence field specifies MONTHLY, this field must be a number between 1 and 5, which refers to the specific week in the month.
If the Recurrence field specifies WEEKLY, this field must be 0.
If the Recurrence field specifies DAILY, this field must be 0.
Start time
Time (in HH:MM format) that the event begins. Required if the Recurrence field specifies DAILY, WEEKLY, or MONTHLY; otherwise, optional.
Duration
Length of time that the event lasts. Required if the Recurrence field specifies DAILY, WEEKLY, or MONTHLY; otherwise, optional.
Begin date and time of unavailability
Date and time (in MM/DDD/YYYY HH:MM format) that the period of unavailability begins. It must be earlier than the date and time in the End date and time of unavailability field. Required if the Recurrence field specifies ONE TIME; otherwise, optional.
End date and time of unavailability
Date and time (in MM/DDD/YYYY HH:MM format) that the period of unavailability ended. It must be later than the date and time in the Begin date and time of unavailability field. Required if the Recurrence field specifies ONE TIME; otherwise, optional.
Task ID for unavailability
Identifier of the task associated with the period of unavailability. This field has a list box. The task description displays to the right of the field. Required if a time code ID is specified; otherwise, optional.
Task IDs are defined on the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Tasks -> Primary Information screen.
Time code ID for unavailability
Identifier of the time code associated with the period of unavailability. This field has a list box. Only time codes with a check in the Use on labor transactions field on the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Time Codes screen may be used. The time code description displays to the right of the field. Required if the employee charges time; otherwise, optional. Must be an active time code if entered.
If you enter a time code with a default task ID for indirect time, the Task ID field auto-populates with the applicable task ID.
Time codes are defined on the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Time Codes screen.
