Weights

The Weights tab enables you to define information about the equipment unit’s weights.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

Equipment ID

Identifier of the equipment unit currently selected in the grid. This field has a zoom button to the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen, on which equipment unit IDs are defined. It also has a list box. The equipment unit year, manufacturer, model, meter readings, and description display to the right of the ID.

Tip: You can set a zoom button for this field to detect the type of equipment and display the appropriate screen. If you used Administrator Mode to add a zoom button, you will need to use it again to remove your user-defined zoom button for this functionality to work.

Detail View

Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab provide information about the equipment unit’s weights.

Weights

All of the following fields are optional, so you may use them however you want.

Tare
Scale
Gross
Lic gross

Unit qualifies for heavy-vehicle use tax

If this field has a check, the vehicle qualifies for heavy-vehicle use tax.

Weights Screen Group Data Table

The screen group provides a history of loaded and empty weights, by axle, for the equipment unit.

Delete

To delete the entries in the fields to the right, place a check in this field and click Save.

Type

Status of the vehicle. This field has a list box:

EMPTY
LOADED

Weight types are defined on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Weight Types screen.

Date

Date that the weight values were entered in the system.

Front

Weight on the front axle.

Rear

Weight on the rear axle.

Total

Total weight of the equipment unit.
