How to execute batch processing from the GUI |
After you create a command file (.cmd), you must run it to process the batch file or files.
Note: This procedure explains how to execute batch processing from the GUI. As an alternative, you can execute batch processing from a command prompt on a workstation that can run the application.
Step 1. From the File menu, select Batch Process -> Execute.
The Open dialog box appears.
Step 2. In the File name field, specify the name of the .cmd file that calls the import data file and click Open.
The referenced screen opens in the .cmd file and data is imported, modified, or deleted, based on the type of batch job being performed.
When the job is complete, the screen closes and only the backsplash displays.
Once the batch process has finished, you should review the ERR and LOG files (and REJ files, if applicable) for any errors or rejected data.
Next step in the process:
Review batch processing results
