Status Rules |
This tab allows the user to establish the rules for Enterprise Purchasing Statuses. To toggle the rules established on this page, check Use enterprise purchasing status rules on the Basic Info tab of the Enterprise Purchasing Options screen.
Delete
To delete the entries in the fields to the right, place a check in this field and click Save.
Status ID allowed
Note: This field is required, and cannot be the same ID as the header Status ID.
This allows the user to change the status of the Enterprise purchasing object. To change the Status ID allowed, click the list box
Enterprise purchasing object
Note: This field is required.
The Enterprise purchasing object that allow the Status to be changed to the Status ID allowed defined in the rule. To change the object type, click the list box.
Select from the following options:
ALL - Allows the status to be changed for all Enterprise purchasing objects.
Changing the object type allows the user to configure the selected object type and what statuses, users, and user groups may interact with it.
For example, a user may want to set a rule that applies to all object types, but then may want to select a second rule that specifically applies to purchase orders and not any other object type.
Status area
This field affects the ability to change the status in the Header and Line areas. To change the status area, click the list box
Both - Allows the status to be changed in both the Header and Line areas
Header - The overall status for the Enterprise purchase order
Line - The status of an individual line item in the Enterprise purchase order
User validate
Check this box to apply this rule to specific user(s) who may use this status.
Note: This box cannot be enabled if the User Group Validate check box has been checked.
User ID validate
This section contains a list box. This field is required if the check box under User validate has been checked.
For example, a user may want to set a rule that applies to a specific user or users. When this is used, then only that user will be able to access and perform the status change.
User group validate
Note: This box cannot be enabled if the User Validate check box has been checked.
Check this box to apply this rule to users with this user group who may use this status.
User group ID validate
This section contains a list box. This field is required if the check box under User group validate has been checked.
For example, a user may want to set a rule that applies to a specific user group or groups. When this is used, then only that group will be able to access and perform the status change.
