Individual PM (Fleet Equipment) |
Note: Linear assets do not display on this screen. Use the Data -> Equipment Units -> Linear Assets -> Primary Information screen.
The Individual PM tab enables you to specify information overrides for specific equipment units. These overrides can cause the system to consider the unit due for PM (regardless of the next PM due date).
These overrides apply to equipment units that have been assigned a PM program type of INDIVIDUAL on the Basic Info tab. If the equipment unit is assigned to an equipment class for PM program on the Classes tab for which the Individual PM Service Schedule tab on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Class -> Primary Information screen specifies data, that data displays on this tab. That information may be overridden by meter and fuel quantity overrides specified on the Meter Info tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Class -> Primary Information screen.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can search on equipment ID, serial number, asset category ID, SLA equipment category, assigned repair location ID, and department ID, among other values. The list of searchable fields on the filter is extensive; use the scroll bar to view them all.
Note: Filtering data based on fuel/fluid type uses the information in the Supported fuel/fluid types screen group on the Codes tab.
The Fleet Equipment screen supports location level and department-level access control, so you must belong to a user group with the applicable authorizations to make changes or updates.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Equipment ID
Identifier of the equipment unit currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. The equipment unit year, manufacturer, and model display to the right of the ID.
When you insert an equipment unit with an asset category that supports automatic numbering and this field is blank, the system generates an equipment ID that follows the format specified in the Custom ID structure field on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Asset Categories screen. If you specify an ID and the equipment’s asset category supports automatic numbering, the ID is not overwritten.
Whether an asset category supports automatic numbering is specified on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Asset Categories screen.
The data in the fields in the screen group define the preventive maintenance (PM) services. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Delete
To delete the entries in the fields to the right, place a check in this field and click Save.
Note: You cannot delete a service with OPEN or PENDING work orders.
PM service
PM service code (task ID) associated with the PM service. The maximum field length is 12 characters. This field has a list box. When you specify an equipment ID, a PM program type of INDIVIDUAL on the Basic Info tab, and an equipment class for PM program on the Classes tab, the PM service from the Individual PM Service Schedule tab displays on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Class -> Primary Information screen.
Task IDs are defined as PM services using the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Tasks -> Primary Information screen.
Date last due
Last date on which this PM service was scheduled. This field is display only.
Date last start
Last date on which this PM service began. This field is optional.
Last performed work order
Identifier of the last work order performed. The ID consists of the identifier of the work order’s assigned shop, the year the work order was opened, and the work order number. This field is display only.
Date next due
Date of the next scheduled performance of this PM service.
Life meter 1 last performed
Life meter 1 reading on the unit the last time this PM service was performed. Includes a zoom button to the Data -> Shop Activity -> Work Order Center screen. This field is display only.
Life meter 1 last start
Life meter 1 reading on the unit when this PM service last began. This field is optional. If this field is updated, the Meter 1 next due field is updated automatically.
Note: If a meter rolled over or was replaced after the work order was opened, the life meter from the work order is used to update the PM schedule.
Meter 1 override
Number of meter units after the last performance of this PM service at which to perform the same service again, irrespective of elapsed time or fuel consumption. This field is optional.
Meter 1 next due
Reading on meter 1 at which time the next PM service is due on the equipment unit.
Life meter 2 last performed
Life meter 2 reading on the unit the last time this PM service was performed. Display only.
Life meter 2 last start
Life meter 2 reading on the unit when this PM service last began. This field is optional. If this field is updated, the Meter 2 next due field is updated automatically.
Meter 2 override
Number of meter units after the last performance of this PM service at which to perform the same service again, irrespective of elapsed time or fuel consumption. This field is optional.
Meter 2 next due
Reading on meter 1 at which time the next PM service is due on the equipment unit.
Fuel used since last PM
Fuel used by the unit since this PM service was last performed. This field is display only.
Note: This field updates automatically only when the transaction date on the fuel ticket is later than or the same as the date last start for equipment units with an Individual PM program type.
Fuel override
Quantity of fuel used since the last PM service at which the equipment unit becomes due for PM, if the quantity is used before the next PM due date or meter readings that would make the unit due. This field is optional.
Number of time units
Number of time units to elapse between consecutive performances of this service on the equipment unit. Each PM service has its own interval between performances. If the Classes tab assigns the equipment unit to an equipment class for PM program, the default is the value specified on the Individual PM Service Schedule tab on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Class -> Primary Information screen (if any).
Time unit
Measurement of time to use for the number of time units. This field has a list box:
