Authority


The Authority tab enables you to display and define information about the operator's authority.

The Primary Information screen supports department-level and location-level access control, so you must belong to a user group with the applicable authorizations to make changes or updates.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

Operator ID

Identifier of the operator currently selected in the grid. This field has a list box. The operator name displays to the right of the ID.

Detail View

Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab define information about the operator's authority. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.

Can use pool unit

If this field has a check, the operator is eligible or authorized to use pool equipment units.

Can have permanently assigned vehicle

If this field has a check, the operator is eligible or authorized to be permanently assigned to an equipment unit.

Can use own vehicle

If this field has a check, the operator is eligible or authorized to use his or her own vehicle.

Is a department head

If this field has a check, the operator is the head of a department.

Fuel card ID

Identifier of the fuel card (authorizes use of the fuel pump) assigned to the operator. The maximum field length is 20 characters. Alphabetic characters are not allowed. Leading zeros are allowed if there is a check in the Send leading zeroes of fuel card number from FuelFocus field on the Data -> Fuel/Fluid Tanks -> Setup -> Options screen and the ID is the same length as what is set in the DDA\Station\maximus\XML.INI for the IDLength tag. You may not use an ID that was previously assigned to an equipment unit, employee, or operator. Optional.

Fuel card PIN

Personal identification number associated with the fuel card. The maximum field length is 12 alphanumeric characters. This field is optional.
