Rights Templates |
The Rights Templates tab enables you to display and associate rights templates with user groups. You can use this tab to assign specific rights templates to the user group. Rights templates are defined on the Rights Templates screens. Screen rights are required; all others are optional.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on user group ID, screen rights template ID, control rights template ID, location access template ID, department access template ID, and report access template ID.
Detail View Header
User group ID
Unique identifier of the user group currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. The user group description displays to the right of the ID. This field is display only.
Detail View
Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab specify the template (or templates) associated with the user group. All fields are optional.
Rights templates for
Screens
Name of the screen rights template assigned to the
user group. Screen rights templates define which screens the users in
the user group can view or modify. This field has a list box.

Name of the control rights template assigned to the
user group. Control rights templates define which controls (or fields)
on a screen the users in the user group can view or modify. This field

Location access
Name of the location access template assigned to the
user group. Location access templates define which data users in a particular
location can view or modify. This field has a list box.
