Overview - Parts Activity


The Parts Activity menu provides access to screens and menus on which you can view or define information about the activities of parts, including receipts, issues, adjustments, transfers, and counts.

Receipts

Process receipt of parts

Bar Code Issues

Post charges (with the use of a bar code scanner) to pending work orders for inventory parts that are installed in shops. To use bar codes, the optional Bar Code Module must be installed.

Direct Issues

Record issues or returns of parts, without work orders, to or from equipment units, department IDs, or account IDs

Stock Check

Determine how to increase the on-hand inventory of parts at a location

Stock Status Upgrade

Upgrade the status of parts

Adjustments

Manually adjust parts inventory data

Stock Transfers

Transfer parts from one inventory location to another

Status Transfers

Transfer stock from one status (suffix) to another; transfer from inventory to vendor or to disposal (scrapped)

Inventory Counts

Access to inventory screens

Kit Assembly

Define information about kits and the parts that comprise kits

Requests

Define information about part requests
