Post charges to work orders

There are several screens from which you can post charges to work orders. Charges are posted the same way from each screen.

• Commercial charges

• Non-commercial labor charges

• Non-commercial parts charges

• Post commercial charges directly

Commercial charges

You can post commercial charges from the following screens:

Data -> Call Center -> Vendor Invoices (available if the Call Center module is installed):  For labor and parts reported to a call center

Data -> Shop Activity

• Work Order Center

• Work Order - Short Form

• Linear Work Order

• Commercial Work Charges

Data -> Parts Repair

Internal Rebuilds (for parts rebuilds only)

 

Non-commercial labor charges

You can post non-commercial labor charges from the following screens:

Data -> Shop Activity

• Work Order Center

• Work Order - Short Form

• Time Cards

• Employee Labor Capture (for work orders not in work delay)

Data -> Parts Repair

• Internal Rebuilds (for parts rebuild labor only)

To post labor to individual PM service or inspection tasks on work orders, go to the Data -> Shop Activity -> Work Order Completion screen.

You can also post labor by using hand-held devices.

Non-commercial parts charges

You can post parts charges from the following screens:

Data -> Shop Activity

• Work Order Center

• Work Order - Short Form

• Parts Issues and Returns

Data -> Parts Activity

• Receipts (for parts issued from inventory only)

• Bar Code Issues (for use the optional Bar Code module)

• Direct Issues (for parts not associated with work orders)

• Requests

Data -> Parts Repair -> Internal Rebuilds (for parts rebuilds only)

Data -> Purchasing -> Quick Orders

 

Post commercial charges directly

You can post commercial charges directly without a work order on this screen:

Data -> Shop Activity -> Direct Charges - No Work Order -> Commercial
